This isn’t like most online casinos I’ve tried, but it ended up being a great place to play, even if it’s a little different from what I usually come across. Everything I care about was there, and it’s got that feeling of a platform that actually knows what it’s doing. The setup isn’t exactly typical, but those quirks didn’t get in the way of my experience (at least not too much). If anything, they made the whole thing feel more memorable.
Before I get into all the Wazamba-specific stuff, I think it’s fair to give you an idea of what I personally check when I’m sizing up a new casino. There’s a checklist I’ve built up over time, where some of it is common sense, some of it is just from learning the hard way. If a site can tick off most of these, I’m usually in.
| What I Look For | Do They Have It Here? |
| Active license | ✅ / ❌ (offshore, so not ideal) |
| E-wallets and crypto | ✅ |
| Fast withdrawals | ⚠️ (hit or miss depending on the method) |
| Game variety | ✅ |
| Demo mode for slots | ✅ |
| Sports betting | ✅ |
| Good mobile version | ✅ |
| Clear bonus info | ✅ |
| Trustworthy ownership | ✅ |
| Layout and design | ❌ (desktop has issues) |
| 24/7 customer support | ✅ |
I don’t usually start by complaining about how a site looks, but in this case… I kind of have to. The theme itself is cool enough. I mean, it’s got these jungle vibes, tribal masks, and forest totems, and it all feels a bit mysterious in a cartoonish kind of way. I’m guessing “Wazamba” is meant to sound like a chant or something ancient and mystical, but honestly? It could just as easily be the name of a breakfast cereal. Either way, it’s memorable.
That said, the actual layout on desktop is just… weird. To be fair, the mobile casino version works way better. Here’s what bugged me:
I’ll admit, I wasn’t expecting to pick a hero when I signed up. Usually, a casino just lets you right into slots and promos, but here I had to choose between three mask-wearing jungle warriors like I was about to start a video game. And weirdly? I kind of liked it.
Now, picking a character doesn’t really affect your gameplay, so it’s more so an accessory to your account, which you choose right before you start playing in the casino. You get to pick from three characters: Bomani, Advar, and Chimola, and they each have their own vibe going on.

This guy looks like he’s ready to throw down. He is basically the muscle of the group. He’s wearing a colorful tribal mask with big round eyes and a tongue sticking out like he’s mocking his enemies. He’s in full jungle gear, holding a spear in one hand and a leopard-print shield in the other. I would say he definitely looks like the type who’d rush headfirst into danger without blinking.
This character’s got this bird-inspired look. I like Advar’s style the best. She’s rocking this sleek red mask, tribal beads, and feathers. The character has glowing blue eyes and a quiver full of purple glowing arrows. There’s something about her that feels calm and tactical. She gives off that cool, quiet “I’ve already calculated your next five moves” kind of energy.
I think this one is kind of the wildcard. Chimola’s mask is long and sleepy-looking, with droopy eyes and red horns poking out of the top. His one hand glows with magical energy, and the other holds a curved staff with a tiny animal at the top part. If anyone’s casting spells in this forest, it’s this guy.
According to the site, there are over 5,000 games. Or maybe it’s 4,000. Depends on which part of the site you look at. Honestly, I’m guessing someone made a typo and no one bothered to fix it, but either way, it’s enough.
| Category | What You’ll Find |
| Slots | Basically, the main attraction. Every theme, mechanic, and style you can think of. |
| Live Casino | Blackjack, roulette, baccarat, game shows—you know the drill. |
| Sports | Lines on all the usual events, plus live betting if you’re into that. |
Most of the games (especially slots) support demo play, which I really liked. It’s a great way to try things out before spending real money. As for the categories… I think there are enough of them, technically. But some feel a little vague or oddly sorted.
Here’s what you’ve got to work with:
Would I have liked better filtering options? Yeah. The categories are a start, but they don’t go deep enough if you’re looking for something specific, like low-volatility slots or certain themes.
There is also a provider filter, but it’s a little odd. I mean, the category itself has a red flag emoji next to it. At this point, I’m probably nitpicking, but still, I find it to be kind of a weird choice. That’s it.

I usually go straight for e-wallets when I’m playing online, and Wazamba has most of the ones I use. I am talking about Skrill, Neteller, Jeton, and MiFinity. On top of that, there are plenty of other options too, including cryptocurrencies and your regular Visa and Mastercard kind of stuff.
Here’s a quick look at what to expect:
| Method Type | Examples | Deposit Time | Withdrawal Time |
| E-wallets | Skrill, Neteller, Jeton | Instant | Within 24h |
| Cryptocurrencies | BTC, ETH, LTC, etc. | Instant | Within 24h |
| Bank Cards | Visa, Mastercard | Instant | 1–3 business days |
| Bank Transfer | SWIFT | 1–3 days | 2–5 business days |
Withdrawals weren’t lightning-fast every time, but I didn’t feel like I was waiting forever either. I’d say it’s pretty average overall, and some methods move quicker than others. It really depends on your location, too, because sometimes it might take longer due to local restrictions.
What really surprised me is that the payments page is actually super convenient. Compared to some of the awkward layout choices elsewhere on the site, this section is simple, clear, and just works.
After you’re done with the games and payments, the bonuses are something you can apply to the gameplay and how you pay. I think this site is actually pretty impressive, because it has a huge selection of over 15 bonuses you can try out regularly.
For the sake of the review, I will cover the more special ones now because I feel like everybody knows about the usual bonuses. I mean, the site has welcome bonuses, reload bonuses, and cashbacks for both sports and the regular casino. And yes! This includes live casino bonuses.
First, here’s a look at the main welcome promos:
| Bonus Type | What You Get |
| Casino Welcome Bonus | 100% up to €500 + 200 free spins + 1 bonus crab |
| Crypto Welcome Bonus | Up to 100 mBTC + 100 free spins + 1 bonus crab (applies to your first four deposits) |
| Sports Welcome Bonus | 100% up to €100 |
Now here’s the stuff I wasn’t expecting:
This is one of the weirdest (and maybe most entertaining) bonus features I’ve seen on a casino site. You earn coins while playing, then use them to buy masks. If you complete a full set, you get a cash prize. If you complete all sets, you get €1,000 in cash.
The mask collections come in all kinds of themes, like:
Now you might be wondering if these masks have functionality apart from collecting dust in your collection. And they do! Kind of… It’s for cosmetic purposes, but that’s still pretty cool, as most online casinos don’t have any customizable options. I was able to change the mask of the character I chose during registration with the masks I bought after I created my account.
If you’re the competitive type, the site runs weekly leaderboard events. The more you play, the more points you rack up, and you can win prizes just by placing. It’s good motivation if you’re already planning to put in some playtime anyway.
This one’s a tracking system that shows how much you’ve played, spun, or won. You don’t always get rewards for them, but it’s still a decent way to keep tabs on your progress. Some do lead to bonuses or coins, though, so it’s worth checking out.

This part’s always a big deal for me. No matter how fun a casino is, if the license is sketchy, it makes me want to take it all back. And Wazamba? Yeah… It’s licensed in Anjouan. That’s not exactly a gold star.
To be blunt, Anjouan isn’t the kind of license that builds trust on its own. It’s offshore, it doesn’t come with a ton of oversight, and it’s not the kind of name that makes you go, “oh yeah, these guys are locked down.”
But (and this is why it’s complicated for me) the casino is run by Stellar LTD, which does have a decent track record with other platforms. That doesn’t magically fix the licensing issue, but I think it adds some credibility.
On the support side, things are solid, too. You’ve got 24/7 live chat and email support, and the team responds quickly, even if the queue is sometimes longer. I didn’t have to deal with any major issues while testing the site, but I did send a few questions just to see how they’d handle them, and the replies were fast, polite, and helpful. There was one single exception, though, so I guess it would also depend on who you happen to stumble upon.

Wazamba is definitely not your average casino, and honestly, that’s kind of what I liked about it. It’s weird in spots, but it’s also packed with stuff to do. Games, bonuses, payments, even sports betting… it covers pretty much everything I care about.
The design could use some rethinking (especially on desktop), and the Anjouan license is a bit of a red flag in my book. But I didn’t run into any real issues while testing it, and the platform itself runs surprisingly smoothly. Add to that a solid mobile experience, tons of games, a weird but entertaining bonus system, and I ended up liking it way more than I expected to.
That said, this was my experience. You might have a totally different take depending on what you’re looking for in a platform. That’s the thing with online casinos. What bugs me might not bother you at all, and vice versa.

If you’ve tried this site (or end up giving it a shot), I’d actually love to know what you thought. Did the floating menu drive you as crazy as it did me? Or did you just pick Chimola and zone out for six hours straight in slot mode? Either way, feel free to share.
