Signing Up Is Easy, But a Few Things Could Be Clearer

I’ve signed up to enough casinos at this point to know when something’s going to be a pain, and thankfully, Wazamba wasn’t one of those. The actual registration process is quick and painless. I had zero issues getting my account set up, and everything about that part worked just the way it should. It’s when you start wondering how (or when) they plan to verify you that things get a little unclear.

Let Me Show You How to Get In

The whole thing took me just a few minutes. Here’s how it goes:

Step 1: Pick a Hero

The first thing you’ll do is choose one of three characters:

Bomani: The classic warrior type. Spear, shield, and ready to charge into battle.
Advar: A quiet archer with glowing arrows and bird-themed armor.
Chimola: A quiet archer with glowing arrows and bird-themed armor.

I picked Advar because the whole stealthy archer thing just works for me. This doesn’t affect how you play or what games you can access. It’s purely for profile customization later on. Think of it as your little jungle mascot that tags along while you’re at it.

Step 2: Set Up Your Account

After picking your hero, Wazamba gives you a few ways to continue. You can go with one of the welcome offers, use a promo code, or skip the whole bonus part and just enter your login details to keep it simple.

Option	What It Does
Pick a Bonus	Choose from the three welcome offers (casino, crypto, or sports).
Use a Promo Code	Enter a bonus code if you’ve got one.
Skip	Keep going without claiming anything upfront. You can always get a bonus later from your account.

This time, I went with one of the default offers just to test it out, but it’s nice that you can opt out completely or drop in a promo code if you’ve got something specific at hand.

Once that’s sorted, you’ll land on the main registration form. Here’s what you’ll need to enter:

Email address
Username
Password
Agreement to the terms and privacy policy
(Optional) Tick the box if you want to receive promos and offers

There’s also a shortcut here! If you’ve got a FunID, you can skip the form entirely and scan a QR code using the app. I stuck with the regular method, but the FunID option’s a nice touch if you’ve already got it set up.

Step 3: Fill In Your Personal Info

Here’s where they’ll ask for your more personal information. The form includes:

Full name
Date of birth
Gender
Country
Address (street, city, postcode)
Phone number
Currency (automatically selected based on your IP)

Step 4: Deposit Prompt

After all that, you’ll get a pop-up asking if you want to make your first deposit. You can skip it and look around the site first, which is exactly what I did. I mean, they can’t force you to deposit just yet.

Signing In

Once you’ve got your account set up, logging in later is exactly what you’d expect. So, no surprises here. You’ve got two options:

Option 1:

Click the “Login” button at the top of the site
Enter your email/username and password
Hit Enter or click the login button again
Done

Option 2:

If you created your account using FunID, you can skip all that and just log in by scanning the QR code from the app. I didn’t use that method personally, but it’s there if you prefer shortcuts.

Verification

Here’s where I felt like things could’ve been explained better. During sign-up, there’s no mention of when or how Wazamba plans to verify your account. So, it got me scratching my head a bit. Nothing popped up during my first deposit either. But once I went through the terms and conditions, I found out that yes, verification is definitely a thing here.

Here’s what they say they can ask for:

Government-issued ID
Proof of address
Proof of ownership for your payment method
Bank or card statements
Possibly a phone or video call to confirm you’re actually you

It’s not until you try to make a withdrawal that things start to come into focus. In my case, after my first cash-out attempt, they asked for the usual stuff:

A photo of my ID
A basic proof of address (like a utility bill)
A screenshot of the e-wallet I used

Now, that was not that hard, but if I hadn’t already been used to this sort of thing, it might’ve thrown me off. There was no warning beforehand, just a message saying I needed to upload documents before the withdrawal could go through.

And from what I read in the terms, they can ask for more depending on the withdrawal method, the amount, or just… whenever they feel like it.

They give you 30 days to send whatever they ask for, and they say they’ll usually verify things within 10 days after that, but they also leave the door open for it to take longer. So yeah, this can slow down your withdrawal, especially if you’re not ready for it.

The Account Menu

Once you’re logged in, checking out your account settings is actually kind of nice. I wasn’t expecting much, but this section is well laid out and makes it really easy to keep track of everything.

You can view:

Your current VIP rank
Available bonuses and rewards
Your limits (if you’ve set any)
Recent wins, including your biggest one
Achievements
Personal details and other account settings

Everything’s organized into tidy little panels, and there’s no confusing submenu situation like you get on some other sites. I didn’t have to guess where anything was or click through five pages to see my bonus progress. It’s all right there, and I honestly wish more casinos did it like this.
